A new version of the MetaTrader 5 mobile application for iOS devices has been released, featuring a variety of enhancements and improvements designed to elevate the overall user experience. The update includes several new charting capabilities along with notable stability enhancements.
One significant feature is the introduction of a text object that allows users to create custom labels on their charts. Users can access this feature via the chart objects menu by selecting “Add Text”, inputting their desired label, and choosing a location on the chart to place it. Each object has dual points – one for moving the label and another for adjusting its direction, offering flexibility in chart annotation.
Additionally, the update brings about a compact on-chart objects menu, which appears at the bottom of the screen after creating an object. This allows users to adjust key properties without needing to navigate away from their current view, streamlining the modification process.
A countdown timer has also been added to the app, which displays the time remaining until the current bar closes. This feature is available across all timeframes, from minute-based to daily charts, and is especially valuable for traders whose strategies hinge on the timing of bar openings and closings. To activate this timer, users can access the chart settings, and it will be visibly displayed on the vertical scale under the current price.
Improvements have also been made to the crosshair mode, which now functions as a ruler for measuring distances on the chart. Users can place the crosshair at a starting point and tap to set an endpoint, with the tooltip providing detailed information on the difference in price, percentage change, and number of bars between the two points.
The update includes enhancements to the display of position tickets within the trading history, allowing for better tracking of trading activities. Furthermore, improvements have been made to indicate quote delays for trading instruments that experience such delays. This information is now effectively displayed on the chart, and the Market Watch section features a more prominent icon to highlight any quote delays.
The application now supports additional providers within its integrated payment system, facilitating improved transaction capabilities for users. Chat functionalities have seen upgrades as well, including the addition of a document viewer and support for *.webp image files. Enhanced search capabilities further assist in navigating through chats, improving overall communication within the app.
Overall, this latest update promises to provide a more efficient trading experience, with added tools and functionalities aimed at both simplifying the user interface and enriching the trading process for iOS users.
