by FXInsider

A renowned technology expert in financial markets, Ann Neidenbach, has joined the Board of Directors of a multi-asset enterprise technology solutions provider, effective immediately. With an impressive background spanning over three decades, Neidenbach has held key positions in leading financial institutions, most recently as Chief Information Officer for Shared Services and Head of Technology at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).

During her tenure at LSEG, she spearheaded the company’s significant transition to cloud infrastructure, creating automated pipeline solutions that were implemented by various entities within LSE, LCH, and other global exchanges. Her extensive responsibilities also entailed managing hosting and connectivity services, essential for offering co-location and network capabilities to clients in the financial services sector.

In 2015, Neidenbach became the Chief Information Officer at Convergex, where she played a crucial role for more than two years in enhancing global brokerage and trading services. Reflecting on her new role, she expressed enthusiasm about joining a company focused on crafting products specifically designed to meet customer requirements while promoting business growth and expanding market presence.

Prior to her role at Convergex, Neidenbach held the position of Senior Vice President of Global Technology Services at Nasdaq, where she directed strategic planning and development for market technology products that facilitated its shift towards cloud computing. Her diverse career also includes her position as Managing Director of Electronic Trading Technology at Citi.

A key figure at oneZero has recognized Neidenbach’s wealth of experience, noting that her background in leading institutional firms will significantly bolster the organization’s domain knowledge and external relationships. This addition to the board is seen as vital for driving innovation within financial markets, especially through a technology-first approach.

Founded in 2009, oneZero specializes in offering software solutions for trade execution, pricing, connectivity, and risk management tailored for banks, brokers, and buy-side market participants. The company’s technology suite includes components like the Hub, EcoSystem, and Data Source, which aim to enhance operational efficiency across the financial sector.

Over the years, Neidenbach has garnered accolades for her contributions to the technology sector, including being named Waters Technology Woman of the Year in 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University and has actively participated on various corporate boards during her career.

Neidenbach’s appointment follows the recent departure of Phil Weisberg, the founder of FXAll, who left the board after contributing to the company for five years. Weisberg, who initially invested in the company in 2019 and later joined its executive team, decided to shift his focus towards expanding his investment portfolio in the financial services domain.

He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to help drive substantial growth during his time at oneZero, a firm known for its commitment to technology-centric solutions. This leadership transition sets the stage for potential future growth and innovation at oneZero with Neidenbach’s seasoned expertise guiding the organization forward.
