Cboe Japan Ceases Billing and Client Portal Access

by FXInsider

Cboe Japan has announced that it will end operations in the Japanese equities market, with the last day of trading being August 29, 2025. Following this final trading day, the billing process will also be halted. This means that the last invoice for services will be issued in early September, marking the conclusion of the billing cycle for clients.

To aid participants in gathering necessary information, the Cboe Japan Client Web Portal will remain operational until September 12, 2025. This extension allows users to download previous invoices and any trade-related data available until the shutdown of the portal.

After August 30, 2025, data on the official Cboe Japan website will not be updated except for critical announcements and publications related to Market Notices and PTS Margin Trading. However, some static data, such as Tick-Table files, Securities Master Files, and Daily Reports, will continue to be accessible until the website is taken offline.

Once the transition is complete, all materials related to the Cboe Japan proprietary trading system and the Cboe BIDS Japan block trading platform will be removed from the official site. This includes the Market Notices page and any remaining information that supported these services. Participants are advised to download any needed data before the specified deadlines to avoid losing access.

This operational wind-down marks a significant change in the landscape of trading services offered in Japan and will affect current clients and partners engaged with Cboe Japan.
