Cboe Japan is set to halt its operations in the Japanese equities market, with the final trading day scheduled for August 29, 2025. As a result, billing related to transactions will also come to an end on that same date. The last invoice for August will be issued during the first week of September and will be the concluding charge.
In order to provide participants of Cboe Japan adequate time to retrieve important documents, including the final and previous invoices as well as any relevant trading data, access to the Cboe Japan Client Web Portal will remain available until September 12, 2025.
From August 30, 2025, data on the corporate webpage will no longer be updated, with exceptions made for announcements pertaining to Market Notices and publications related to PTS Margin Trading. However, dynamic content such as the Tick-Table file, Securities Master Files, and Daily Reports will continue to be accessible through the website until it is eventually taken down.
When the website is dismantled, all remaining resources essential for the support of the proprietary trading system and the Cboe BIDS Japan block trading platform will be removed from the main site, including the Market Notices page.
This transition indicates a significant shift in the operations of Cboe Japan as it phases out its services, prompting participants to prepare for the changes and ensure they have acquired all necessary documentation before the deadlines.
