A notable update has been released for a multi-asset order execution management system catering to professional users, introducing version 25.14 that aims to enhance both the Order Ticket and Option Chain functionalities.
One of the significant features is the revamped Order Ticket, which now supports a layout that includes up to five columns and five rows in the quote panel. This update allows traders greater flexibility in managing their orders and viewing relevant information simultaneously.
Furthermore, optimization in the Time & Sales module has been implemented. This enhancement significantly boosts performance when multiple Order Tickets are opened at once. In the past, workspaces with numerous active tickets could suffer from challenges such as lagging, particularly when processing extensive time & sales entries. The latest update has efficiently improved grid rendering, which minimizes delays and promotes a smoother overall trading experience.
The Option Chain has also seen meaningful improvements. A prominent feature now allows users to see the price of a buy or sell order directly in the indicator pop-up window, without the need to access an Order Ticket or Order Manager. This enhancement streamlines the process of order monitoring and contributes to greater trading efficiency.
Another new feature involves the introduction of visual order position color coding within the Option Chain. This functionality enhances usability by incorporating color-coding for cBID/ASK and pBID/ASK columns, helping users quickly assess the relationship of their open buy or sell orders against the current market bid or offer. Orders positioned at the best bid or offer will be highlighted with bright green and red backgrounds, while those further from the best bid or offer will appear with darker shades. Users can activate this feature through the Option Chain Settings by navigating to General and selecting Show NBBO Based Side Coloring.
Overall, these enhancements aim to improve user experience and trading efficiencies in a competitive marketplace, aligning with the needs of professional users seeking advanced tools for order management and execution.
