A recent update to a multi-asset order execution management system has introduced version 25.14, which includes several enhancements aimed at improving the user experience for professionals engaged in trading.
One of the key updates to this version is the Order Ticket feature, which now allows users to display up to five columns and five rows in the quote panel. This increase in the display options enables traders to monitor and manage multiple orders simultaneously with greater ease.
Another significant improvement is the optimization of the Time & Sales module. The performance of this module has been enhanced to ensure smoother operation when multiple Order Tickets are open. Previously, users experienced considerable lag when managing numerous active tickets, particularly when rendering a large number of time and sales entries. The update addresses this by making grid rendering more efficient, which minimizes delays and creates a more seamless trading experience.
Additionally, enhancements were made to the Option Chain feature. A new pop-up window now exhibits the price of orders associated with buy or sell indicators without requiring users to open an Order Ticket or Order Manager. This modification greatly streamlines order monitoring, thereby boosting trading efficiency.
Moreover, the Option Chain has implemented a visual improvement by incorporating color coding into the cBID/ASK and pBID/ASK columns. This feature allows users to quickly identify the positions of open buy or sell orders in relation to the current market bid or offer. Bright green and red backgrounds signify orders that align with the best bid or offer, while darker shades indicate orders that are further from these optimal points. This color coding can be easily activated through Option Chain Settings under the relevant general options.
These enhancements reflect a commitment to improving functionality and usability for traders, ultimately supporting more efficient decision-making processes within the trading environment.
