Finalto Appoints Sam Horowitz as Head of Liquidity UK/EU

by FXInsider

A prominent firm specializing in institutional trading services and liquidity solutions has appointed a seasoned professional, Sam Horowitz, as the new Head of Liquidity for the UK and EU regions. With two decades of experience within the banking sector, Horowitz has held senior positions at notable institutions including BBVA, Lloyds, Rabobank, and UBS, focusing primarily on electronic forex (eFX) desk operations.

In 2021, he joined CMC Markets and was promoted in 2022 to lead its FX Distribution and Liquidity Management efforts. After concluding his tenure at CMC in 2023, Horowitz transitioned to roles at money transfer companies Wise and Rafiki.

This recent appointment is part of broader management changes within the firm, which have taken place since earlier this year. Notably, the company’s CEO and COO stepped down, prompting a re-evaluation and restructuring of leadership roles. The strategic decision to bring in Horowitz is seen as a significant move to bolster liquidity services as the firm navigates through these changes in management and organizational focus.
