Finalto R&D Head Departs Amid Leadership Changes

by FXInsider

Mikkel Kallerup Olsen, who previously held the role of R&D Manager at Finalto, has departed from the organization. His tenure at Finalto began in 2021, during which he was responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of ClearVision, Finalto’s proprietary trading platform. This platform plays a crucial role in the company’s B2B operations. The R&D team, consisting of over 40 developers spread across Denmark and Singapore, worked under his leadership to enhance the platform’s capabilities.

Before joining Finalto, Mikkel accumulated valuable experience as the Development Director of Corporate Banking at SDC, a provider of banking IT solutions, from 2016 to 2021. His background also includes a lengthy career at Danske Bank, where he spent 13 years, ultimately serving as the Manager of Payment Products.

There have been a series of significant changes at the senior management level within Finalto since the conclusions of the previous year. These changes include the exits of key figures, such as the CEO and the COO, indicating a period of transition for the firm.

Finalto is recognized as a prominent multi-asset prime brokerage, specializing in tailored fintech and liquidity solutions. It offers competitive pricing and execution services across a diverse array of assets, such as CFDs on equities, indices, commodities, cryptocurrencies, rolling spot FX, and both precious and base metals. They also create bespoke products like non-deliverable forwards (NDFs). In 2022, Finalto was acquired by Gopher Investments, a company based in Hong Kong, marking a significant shift in its ownership structure.
