by FXInsider

A new leadership appointment has been made at a prominent financial services company in the UK. Ollie Rosewell has stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer for the firm’s UK operations. He shared his excitement for this new chapter via LinkedIn, expressing pride in his new position and eagerness to guide the entity forward.

Before assuming this top position, Rosewell held the role of Commercial Director within the same organization, where he dedicated approximately 18 months. His focus during that tenure was on forging new strategic partnerships and leveraging technology for business growth. Prior to becoming Commercial Director, he was the Chief Marketing Officer for nearly five years, during which he managed global marketing initiatives from the firm’s base in London.

Rosewell’s career spans roughly two decades in the financial services and trading sector. He previously led marketing efforts at ETX Capital for over two years, where he was instrumental in brand positioning and client relationship management initiatives. His earlier experiences at AFX Group and London Capital Group involved overseeing brand development and client engagement approaches, reflecting a strong background in driving marketing strategies within the financial arena.

His trajectory in the financial marketing field includes a significant stint at IG, where he spent about seven years. Starting out as an Online Marketing Manager, he worked his way up to Senior Marketing Manager, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities in administering marketing teams and driving brand acquisition campaigns for a well-known broker.

The company has seen several executive shifts recently. The former CEO, who took on the role at the start of 2023, has exited the firm. During his tenure, he also held the position of Managing Director of Regulated Markets before his departure from the Australian headquarters.

In addition to Rosewell’s appointment, Neil Emmerson has recently joined as Head of UK Trading Risk, bringing over ten years of experience from CMC Markets, where he held a prominent role overseeing risk and revenue across diverse asset classes. Moreover, Michael Clifton-Jones has been promoted to Group Chief Commercial Officer in an internal advancement, indicating a trend of significant change and evolution within the company’s leadership structure.

Overall, these management transitions signify a dedicated effort towards consolidating strategic partnerships and elevating the organizational capabilities as the firm navigates a competitive marketplace. With Rosewell’s extensive background and commitment to leading the UK’s operations, the company is poised for further growth and innovation in the financial trading industry.
