New COO Announcement at Blueberry Markets

by FXInsider

A recent promotion within a well-known trading firm has elevated an executive to the position of Chief Operating Officer. This individual, who primarily managed trading and operations for the past year and seven months, announced the transition on a professional networking platform.

Prior to this new role, the executive spent approximately eight years at a different trading organization, where they held multiple significant positions, including Director. In this capacity, they were responsible for overseeing liquidity, corporate relations, and compliance management, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and government legislation.

Moreover, the executive also served as the Global Head of Risk at the same company for nearly eight years. Their responsibilities included managing risk, overseeing trading operations, and implementing internal controls to safeguard the organization against potential threats in the financial landscape. Briefly, they also held a position as a Senior Trader.

Leadership experience extends to another trading firm, where they acted as Director for nearly four years. Here, they concentrated on enhancing client relations, improving operational efficiency, and managing risk factors that could impact the firm’s performance. This was preceded by a role at GAIN Capital, where the executive worked as a Senior Market Maker for just over four years, managing market-making processes across various financial instruments.

Their initial foray into the trading world began at City Index as a Dealer, where they gained valuable experience over more than four years.

In addition to this leadership change, the firm has recently expanded its offerings by partnering with Spotware to integrate the cTrader platform following a rebranding initiative. This strategy reflects a commitment to developing a multi-platform approach, which also includes a visual refresh of the company’s branding, comprising a new logo, updated typography, and redesigned websites. The revamped identity is designed to enhance clarity, precision, and empower traders through improved educational content and social media engagement.

The cTrader platform offers a variety of features catering to different trading styles, including manual, copy, and algorithmic trading. Key functionalities include cBots, cloud execution, and API access, as well as Level II pricing, order protection, trade receipts, and advanced charting capabilities. Users can access this platform conveniently on web, desktop, Mac, and mobile devices in 23 different languages.

This strategic focus on enhancing the trading platform while investing in leadership talent represents a significant evolution for the firm as it aims to solidify its position within the competitive trading landscape.
