by FXInsider

A forex and CFD brokerage based in Australia has announced the promotion of an individual to the role of General Manager of Information Security and Compliance. This newly appointed executive has been with the firm for just over a year, previously occupying the position of Head of IT Security.

The new General Manager is recognized as a seasoned IT security professional with a robust background in the industry, having previously held significant roles at reputable organizations. Prior to her joining, she was the Chief Information Security Officer at Sumsub for over two years. Her career also includes a position at Citi, where she served as a Senior Business Information Security Officer in Moscow, along with other experiences in that geographical area.

In addition to this executive promotion, the brokerage firm has undergone significant changes at the leadership level recently. A new Head of Client Experience has been appointed, bringing a wealth of expertise in the FX and CFD trading sector. This individual transitioned from FP Markets, where she played vital roles related to client relations and partnerships.

The new Head of Client Experience has an impressive financial services background that spans several major brokerage firms, including FP Markets, IC Markets, and FxPro. She has held leadership roles in various locations, including Cyprus and London, where she was responsible for managing partnerships and enhancing customer journeys.

Moreover, the brokerage is expanding its footprint in the realm of sports sponsorships. Earlier this year, a sponsorship agreement was established with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team. This partnership is seen as a strategic move to enhance the brand’s visibility within the sports community. The Group CEO expressed enthusiasm about this collaboration, emphasizing a commitment to building a successful partnership that benefits both entities involved and anticipates celebrating this synergy during the Australian Grand Prix, which marks the beginning of the racing season.

Overall, these leadership changes and strategic partnerships reflect the firm’s ambition to strengthen its position within the financial markets and enhance client experiences, signaling a progressive trajectory for the organization.
