A new appointment has taken place at OneRoyal, with the recent promotion of Dominic Poynter to the role of Chief Commercial Officer, a position he assumed after serving as Head of Marketing for over a year in Limassol, Cyprus. His contributions to the company have been significant, including facilitating the appointment of a prominent brand ambassador and contributing to various brand initiatives.
Before his tenure at OneRoyal, Poynter held the title of Chief Marketing Officer at HYCM, also in Limassol, where he concentrated on developing go-to-market and digital strategies for about a year. His previous experience includes two years as Marketing Director at Axiory, where he managed marketing operations in diverse international markets such as Africa, the MENA region, and Southeast Asia. His key responsibilities involved budget management, team development, overseeing operations in Cyprus, and handling trading platforms.
Poynter’s career also included a role at ATFX Global Markets (formerly Positiva Markets), where he was Head of Marketing for two years. During this time, he crafted global marketing strategies, initiated the launch of the retail brand post-acquisition, and established essential marketing infrastructure, including CRM systems and affiliate programs. His earlier experience encompasses three years as the Director of Marketing Operations at easyMarkets in Limassol, where he gained solid insight into the industry.
Beyond organizational changes, OneRoyal recently made headlines for its support of local community initiatives. The company proudly sponsored the Oman Bangladeshi Students Football Tournament, which took place at the Al Amrat Football Field in Muscat. The event included eight teams and approximately 80 attendees. As part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility, OneRoyal contributed 500 OMR to aid the tournament, showcasing their dedication to the student community and local initiatives.
In another notable development, the Financial Commission has granted membership approval to OneRoyal. This membership grants the company access to client complaint protections of up to €20,000 via the Compensation Fund. The Financial Commission serves as an independent mediator between brokers and clients, providing an alternative to conventional arbitration or court processes within the sectors of CFDs, forex, and cryptocurrencies.
Overall, the recent changes within the company and its active involvement in community support reflect an evolving strategy focused on growth, client satisfaction, and social impact. Poynter’s extensive background in marketing and commercial strategy is expected to further drive the company’s initiatives and help it reach new heights in the competitive financial industry.
