A prominent figure has transitioned from a role at a well-known financial charting platform to initiate a new strategy consulting firm named Merchant Seven (M7). This new venture aims to enhance results for early-stage technology enterprises.
The new firm, M7, will focus on offering strategic guidance by providing a fractional, high-impact team and operational support, enabling businesses to accelerate their growth without the need for full-time executive hires.
The General Manager in question had been instrumental in driving the success of the platform for six years, shaping its presence within the retail FX and CFD brokerage sectors. His previous experience includes a significant five-year tenure at another financial technology company, where he held multiple roles, including Vice President of Revenue Strategy and Head of Business Development.
Joining him at M7 are two former colleagues from the financial charting platform. One will assume the position of Chief of Staff, while the other will manage community initiatives and educational products for the new firm.
In a recent social media post announcing the new business, he highlighted the timing of this venture as pivotal. He expressed confidence in the leadership at the existing company, while emphasizing the dynamic nature of the early-stage technology ecosystem, which is rapidly evolving. The firm is launching with five clients already secured and plans to expand its team in the coming months to accommodate further growth.
This initiative reflects a strategic response to the increasing demand for specialized expertise in the tech sector, aiming to act as a catalyst for companies seeking to navigate their growth journeys more effectively.
