A significant development in the real estate investment landscape has occurred with the listing of the PURE Swiss Opportunity REF fund on the SIX Swiss Exchange, which opens new avenues for private investors. This fund, now designated as PSO (ISIN CH0555854626), is an addition to the SIX Real Estate Funds Broad Index (SWIIT). This index features all real estate funds listed on the exchange that allocate a minimum of 75% of their assets in Switzerland. As of the end of September 2025, the index had a robust market capitalization totaling CHF 74.5 billion.
In a recent statement, a senior manager at the exchanges division of SIX expressed enthusiasm about the arrival of PURE Funds AG. This marks the second introduction of a real estate fund issuer within the current year, broadening the spectrum of investment opportunities available on the Swiss stock exchange. Investors currently have access to 49 funds, with 47 categorized specifically as real estate funds.
The initiation of the PSO fund is perceived as a crucial milestone in enhancing the real estate fund’s trajectory, laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth in the future. The fund has a diverse portfolio consisting of 18 properties, all strategically situated in economically prosperous regions of Switzerland. Since its launch in December 2020, the portfolio has developed a notable market value of CHF 254 million, signifying its potential and stability in the competitive real estate market.
SIX’s welcoming of new participants such as PURE Funds AG into its real estate offerings underscores an ongoing trend in the market towards diversification and increased consumer options. This not only elevates the investment landscape for private investors but also reflects the overall growth and resilience of the Swiss real estate sector.
