Industry Vet Lands Top Role at Options with Fidessa Experience.
Options Technology, a provider of capital markets infrastructure solutions, has recently appointed James Hardcastle as their new Vice President and Head of Sales for the Asia Pacific \(APAC\) region. With over two decades of experience in the industry, Hardcastle brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. Hardcastle’s career spans more than 25 years in the capital markets industry, focusing on software SaaS, hardware, infrastructure IaaS, and managed services within both traditional finance \(TradFi\) and emerging finance \(DeFi and CeFi\) markets.
Having spent over 20 years in the APAC region, Hardcastle has cultivated relationships and gained insights into the area’s diverse markets and client needs. In his new role as Vice President and Head of Sales for APAC, Hardcastle will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding Options Technology’s market presence across the region. In the past two months, the company has made other personnel moves, including appointing Marlena Efstratopoulou as its Chief Information Security Officer and promoting Laura McCann to the position of Chief Financial Officer. With these strategic appointments, Options Technology aims to integrate security and risk functions and drive sales growth in the region.
